Up to No Good

Garments hand crafter by Johanna Madritsch for her second year collectives at the Royal Academy of Art. They form a visual tale depicting unjustly punished adolescents by expressing the feelings and visual identifiers of the young misunderstood victims of an age-old tradition in Central Europe that celebrates violence. The collection serves as a sugar-coated affirmation of the directionless and carelessness that the victims have grown to embody as a result of their traumas as children.
