I spent a season living and working on Galiano Island, BC where they have just one road and too many deer. It was an incredibly formative period and I owe a huge debt of gratitude to the wonderful people that hosted me there. The location, Serenity by the Sea was built by hand by Shera Street and Chida Kash many years ago. Since my time there they two had sold the property and moved on.
